Struggling to Format Your eBook, Paperback, or Large Print Paperback?
I can help make formatting a stress free experience for you.
I’m back from my hiatus. And in this short episode, I’m going share exactly what you can expect from the Authorpreneur Podcast going forward.
Coming up in this episode, I’ll discuss enlisting the help of a book blogging tour service. Also on the show, I will share my attempts to grow my email list, whether I’ve made any progress on book two, and what I’m doing to get book reviews for my crime thriller novella, Missing.
There’s light at the end of the tunnel for the second book in my James Lalonde series. I’ve made a tonne of progress this week on fixing the issues in the story arc. In book marketing news, I started dabbling in Amazon ads for the US store. I’m going to share why I turned off the Amazon Ads on the UK store. On top of all of this, I experienced a few exciting author first’s this week.
Coming up in this episode, I’ll share my experiences in experimenting with Amazon advertising and the results of the book promotion services that I purchased during the last week in January. And, I’ll discuss how I discovered that I’d written a pile of garbage which is the current state of book two in the James Lalonde series.
Coming up in this episode, I discuss exactly what I did during my first ever book launch. And, I’m also going to discuss a few experiments in book marketing as a new author. I’ve also changed my mind about something essential to my book marketing plan.
BTS024, Getting Ready to Self-Publish a Thriller Novella, Translating a Novel in French, and Changes to the Podcast
Coming up in this episode, I’m going to discuss where I’m at in the publishing process for Missing, my thoughts and plans on how I’ll self-publish my mystery novella, and a few more marketing ideas. Before we dive into my exciting publishing news, I want to first talk about a slight change to my podcast and why I struggled with consistently publishing episodes. And, what I plan to do to overcome these issues in the future.
Over the years, there has been a big push by some well-meaning people to avoid putting all your eggs in one basket and publish your books to all of the platforms or go wide. But, is this the best advice for a new author? In this episode, I’m going to discuss the difference between going wide and enrolling in the KDP Select programme and what you need to consider before deciding. And at the end of this section of the podcast, I’m going to share three actionable steps to help you decide which option is right for you. After that, in the second part of the podcast, I’m going to share with you a short behind the scenes author diary update.
In the pursuit of sharing what I know and building a sustainable career as an author, I’ve turned to use Patreon as a writer to create another stream of income for my business. The one thing I’ve learned in business through my successes and failures is not to put all your eggs in one basket and to create a business that sustainable long term.
Welcome to the fiftieth episode of the podcast. In the spirit of celebration, in this episode, I will answer questions on writing, self-editing, and procrastination asked by my Blog Readers, Youtube Subscribers, Podcast Listeners, and through my Ask A Question form on my website.
Coming up in this show, I discuss why I migrated away from MailChimp and the steps involved. And, I also discuss my decision to merge my author and writing tips websites. In terms of writing, I will share where I’m at with Missing, Book Two, and the steps I need to take before I start writing my short story. But, first an update on my favourite cup of tea and what I’m currently reading.
